The mature singles dating scene can truly be a jungle, and it takes some practice to survive in it. If your recent dates have all been failures and even dating sites won’t give you a decent potential partner, then you might want to look at yourself. Maybe your dating style needs some tuning up! Here are some tips to help you get the ladies:
1. Mix things up for a change.
No one wants to do the same things over and over again. The same old boring date night just won’t cut it any more. Today’s over 50′s singles are more adventurous, so instead of a typical cheesy dinner date, why not take her some place new? Go zip lining or enjoy climb time at the nearest wall climbing place. The idea is to do something drastically different from a movie and dinner combo. This gives you plus points and increases your chance of you getting a second date.
2. Dress to impress.
It is important to be comfortable and be yourself, but it will also help greatly if you dress smartly. Resist the urge to put on your favourite ratty shirt and jeans. If you are taking her some place formal, put on something appropriate. After all, she sure puts on the same effort to look good for you. In addition, looking good boosts your self confidence and changes the way yourself and other people look at you.
3. Understand the perplexity of women.
You don’t need to be an expert in figuring out how the female mind works, but it helps to know a little bit about certain behaviours. Do your research. Sit down with a woman friend or read magazines. Watching chick flicks also helps. These are great sources of information if you want to really know what women look for in men.
4. Ask and you shall receive.
Don’t be taken aback by fear of rejection. If one girl refuses you, then turn to the next. There is a sea of hot and available singles out there. A series of “no’s” should just lead you to the right woman. Don’t give up on dating and keep hoping that the next girl you date is “the one.” In the meantime, enjoy the dating scene while you’re still available. Even if you don’t find the woman you’re going to marry, you can still meet new people to make your love life a little more interesting.
