Friendships

A friendship is usually defined as a relationship between two people who care about each other. Good friends can be people we have grown up with and if we are really lucky they will be with us throughout our lives. Friendships can be very close and in some circumstances they can be as strong if not stronger than the one we have with our partner. A friend can be someone we see frequently or one that we see rarely, but know that they will be there for us should the need arise.

Of course one of the strongest friendships people can have is with their partner and who doesn’t like the idea of finding a partner that will also be their life long best friend. defining friendship is difficult and there have been mountains of words written about friendship over the years. Friendship problems can cause as much pain and happiness as romantic relationships and like the latter, friendships need to be worked on if they are to survive and grow.
